為 配 合 推 動 S T E A M 教 育 ， 教 育 局 持 續 強 化 初 中 科 學 課 程 實 施 ， 鞏 固 學 生 科 學 知 識 基 礎 ， 並 加 強 科 學 探 究 的 能 力 和 學 習 科 學 的 興 趣 ； 同 時 亦 推 動 運 用 資 訊 科 技 工 具 於 學 與 教 ， 包 括 運 用 電 子 學 習 平 台 以 促 進 學 生 自 主 學 習 。

To facilitate the promotion of STEAM education, the Education Bureau has all along been enhancing the implementation of Science (S1-3) curriculum, with a view to building a solid foundation of science knowledge among students, strengthening their abilities on scientific investigation as well as enhancing their interests in learning science. In tandem, we also promote the use of technology in learning and teaching, including the use of e-learning learning platform for promoting self-directed learning among students.

計劃內容 / Contents of the Scheme

「 初 中 科 學 線 上 自 學 計 劃 2 0 2 3 」 由 教 育 局 主 辦 ， 並 得 到 香 港 科 技 大 學 轄 下 的 香 港 虛 擬 大 學 支 持 。 為 提 升 學 生 的 電 子 學 習 體 驗 ， 我 們 於 本 年 度 起 將 進 一 步 增 潤 計 劃 內 的 線 上 科 學 學 習 活 動 ； 除 了 包 括 不 同 主 題 的 線 上 科 學 講 座 及 電 子 測 驗 外 ， 亦 包 括 科 學 線 上 閱 讀 活 動 ， 內 容 與 科 學 （ 中 一 至 中 三 ） 課 程 相 關 。 電 子 學 習 平 台 將 採 用 全 新 的 互 動 介 面 ， 讓 學 生 更 輕 易 地 參 與 各 類 線 上 活 動 。 為 鼓 勵 學 生 參 與 計 劃 ， 參 加 本 計 劃 的 學 生 在 完 成 線 上 學 習 活 動 後 ， 可 按 表 現 獲 得 證 書 以 作 獎 勵 。

"Junior Secondary Science Online Self-learning Scheme (JSSOSS) 2023" is organised by the Education Bureau, and supported by the Hong Kong Virtual University of the Hong Kong University of Science and Technology. To enhance students’ experiences on e-learning, the science learning activities in the Scheme will further be enriched starting from this year; in addition to science online seminars of different topics and electronic quizzes, science online reading activities will also be included. The contents of these learning activities are relevant to Science (S1-3) curriculum. The e-learning platform will adopt a new interactive interface to facilitate students in participating the learning activities more easily. To encourage students to participate in the Scheme, certificates will be awarded to students participating in the Scheme according to their performance in the online learning activities.

參加對象及報名 / Target participants and enrolment

本 計 劃 將 於 2 0 2 3 年 1 月 1 日 至 2 0 2 3 年 3 月 3 1 日 2 0 2 3 年 4 月 3 0 日 日 期 間 進 行 ， 歡 迎 全 港 所 有 中 一 至 中 三 學 生 參 與 。 參 加 者 應 透 過 學 校 報 名 ， 每 所 學 校 只 需 遞 交 一 份 報 名 表 。報 名 表 及 學 生 資 料 表 可 於 此 網 址 下 載 。

The Scheme will be held from 1 January 2023 to 31 March 2023 30 April 2023. All Secondary 1-3 students are welcome to participate in the Scheme. Participants should apply via schools. Only one application form is needed for each school. The application form and the student information sheet can be downloaded from this website.
